Club Champs Gala 1

Hello! It's me bergyboo! I know that i haven't blogged in quite a long time, but i have been busy with revision and exams and swimming lol.

Well, today was gala 1 in our 2007 club championships, so i bet you are all very tired if you went (grrr if u didnt). We had some absolutely amazing swims - we haven't calculated anything yet but I think that there were some massive PBs and also probably some new club records set. WELL DONE!!

Todays events were: 4x25m individual medley
50m backstroke
100m breaststroke
400m freestyle (girls event postponed till tuesday)




Also, i think that it is an appropriate time to tell u all about our new lesson program...

on a sunday before training we are teaching some young swimmers, mostly beginners. some of them - with a bit of guidance - could become our next top swimmers in a few years. We do seriously have some very good little'uns. I suppose that these are now the 'tiger cubs' so our little swimmers in normal training must be just tigers now.




Oh yeah, and before i go, REMEMBER to fill in your swimmers' swimmer of the year form, and put it in the wrapped box at the pool. Vote for who you think has improved the most, worked hardest, helped out or just generally been kind to everyone.
